Jake Sinclair

ake Sinclair is a GRAMMY-nominated producer and musician who was once told by Harry Connick Jr. that he "plays the shit out of the bass". Born in Idaho, he started playing music at age 7, where he discovered a love for learning and playing Beatles songs (still does). He started his first band at 11 by convincing his friends to buy instruments, and furthered his skills playing with his dad in the grownups church band. While a member of the “almost-famous-in-Germany” indie band The Films, Jake met Butch Walker and a Sensei-student bond quickly formed, leading Jake to move from NYC to LA, where he honed his craft engineering for the acclaimed producer working with multi-platinum artists such as Taylor Swift, P!nk, Avril Lavigne, Keith Urban, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Weezer and Train. After writing and producing his first gold single with New Politics ("Harlem"), followed by his first platinum single with 5 Seconds Of Summer ("She Looks So Perfect"), Jake moved into his own studio in Echo Park where he got to work curating a pretty sweet rotation of places to get lunch. It was here he produced Panic! At the Disco’s #1 album Death of a Bachelor and his childhood favorite Weezer’s White Album. He is currently performing on tour with his other childhood favorite, Beck, whose savvy tour schedule allows Jake plenty of time to write and produce new music, play a little bit of FIFA on Xbox and conduct his top secret Saturday morning group writing sessions. Jake is married to the actress Kate Micucci. They live in Los Angeles/New York with their dog Claire, who is almost definitely cuter than your dog.
