Lips Lips Lips is the new moniker of Danish composer, producer and artist Søren Juul.
Juul debuted under the name Indians, releasing the LP Somewhere Else on British 4AD
back in 2013. His intimate yet expansive dream-pop earned him high acclaim, a
composing gig for the film The Fault In Our Stars and a taste of the limelight.
Not one to settle in paths laid out, Juul retired Indians and released his second LP, This
Moment, under his own name, Søren Juul. The album, full of wistful atmospherics,
charted a meandering young artist’s yearning for a home.
Lips Lips Lips, now on Danish label Music For Dreams, marks the retreat from a life of
constant noise and movement. A newfound comfort and nourishment flow through Juul’s
work, not just as contemplations and tranquil atmospheres but as an embodied sense of
freedom, an enveloping ease and an instinctive spontaneity.
